MEUSAC and EURES join forces to promote EU citizens’ rights
European Year of Citizens 2013
As part of the activities for the European Year of Citizens 2013, MEUSAC joined EURES, the European Job Mobility Portal, to organise a public event in Valletta on May 10, 2013.
EURES provides information, advice and recruitment/placement (job-matching) services for the benefit of workers and employers as well as any citizen wishing to benefit from the principle of the free movement of persons.
The main aim of the event was to disseminate information to the general public about citizens’ rights. The event was well attended and the public had the opportunity to discuss themes related to citizens’ rights with MEUSAC and EURES officials.
