Youth on the Move

The European Commission Representation in Malta held an event which focused on opportunities for young people within the EU. The event, entitled Youth on the Move, held in Valletta on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 December as part of the European Year of Citizens 2013, targeted mainly 15 to 30-year olds, and saw the participation of several public and private organisations which implement projects in the fields of education and employment in Malta.

Visitors had the opportunity to engage directly with MEPs, youth organisation representatives experts, as well as with young people who have already benefited from the implemented measures, during a panel discussion ‘L-Ewropa għaż-Żgħażagħ: Diskussjoni miż-żgħażagħ dwar l-UE u dwar l-opportunitajiet li din toffrilhom; attività għas-Sena Ewropea taċ-Ċittadini 2013’.

The two-day event included animations, fun activities and performances by breakdance and hip hop dancers.
